Kind of Movie I want my children To watch

I love watching movies and this cartoon is my new favourite. The story taught us to have trust towards ourself and being just what we are even when we are so different from others. so inspiring, and the ideas are awesomely quirky. Training bunch of Dragons and the whole Viking thingy? I love it.

I want my children (future children) to see this kind of movie so that they realized that in life, they are allowed to be different from others. to be brave and bold in being themselves. :)

Life Is Beautiful Mr. Schindler...

It was a title of two movies, Life is beautiful ( La vita e bella, played by Roberto Benigni) and Schindler's list. Both are telling the story about Holocaust in Nazi era. sad. I watched the first movie years ago but then I finally have the courage to watch Schindler's list. (yeah I have the tendency to avoid a movie that create discomfort due to it's disturb story or scenes). But, finally I decided to watch it anyway, and Im very satisfied, the movie is good. Cz I love movie that stimulate my emotion , awaken my awareness and taught me good values.

But, I shall make several notes here, of course I adore the acting of Liam neeson (as Oskar Schindler, the Austrian Industrialist who saved 1,100 jews from Auscwitzh), Ben Kingsley (as Mr.Stern), and Ralph Fiennes (as Amon goeth),, Its just..most of the scenes are very disturbing with very strong graphics, killings, shooting, abuse, etc..It made me sick..Ralph Fiennes acting was insane, He played the SS commander who did the crazy random killings and I almost believe He is the real Amon goeth (sick). In the other hand, the story itself been made very realistic, I love the way they build the emotional bonding between Schindler and the workers (in a very implicit way but I can feel it), and I love how there are not too much drama on the movie. I cried several times, due to some heart-breaking scenes that shakes my sense of humanity (so prepare some tissue before you watch it). Btw, You can read the review here.

Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler

sir Ben Kingsley as Mr. Itszhak Stern, the Jew.

Look famillier? Ralph Fiennesis ( the guy who played Lord Voldemort) as Amon goeth The crazy sick SS.

Overall, this film is good, because the story is good and the values from the story itself made me fall in love with a thing called consciousness. I suppose as a human, we should put our conduct on the base of consciousness so we could use the heart in every of our action. I cant imagine, nor want to imagine, a person like Hitler..as sick as he is..as crazy as he is..become a leader that being loved and feared by his followers, which I think, as sick as He himself.

I cant believe my mind, my eyes..how people could be very blind and cruel and sick like that? well, I actually got the explanation in my social psychology class but I'm too lazy to explain it now..hee..I just love to watch those movie, cz those movie remind me to keep my act on the base on my very own consciousness..thus I wont treat others with bad behavior..thus I wont hurt others in a way I cant forgive my self...Thus I will always respect people, no matter who they are...where they come from or what they do..

It is always right to treat man as human, with respect and love...

My favorite actors!

did i ever told you about my addiction into watching movie? well i tell you now. i've been witnessing tons of movies with different genre, stories, actors, directors..whatever you name it. One day i dont have anything to do and i count the number of movies that i ever watched, at that time, i was watch (if I'm not mistaken) approximately 600 movies..from the most dramatics or tricky plot into the most trashy one (ex: harold n Kumar!).Haha. well, i enjoy watching good movies with good acting on it. but mostly i am interested in movies with classic settings and stories (little children, the atonement, pride n prejudice, the duchess, libertine, bright star, etc). I think those movies are good in term of stories, wardrobe and setting. i just love it when i see picturesque old settings and lots of fashion in those movies, make me feel closer into some victorian/30's/50's aristocrat style, i love the fabrics, the pattern and the unique accessories that represented the old time. the hat from "marie Antoinette' really fascinated me!.
anyway, from all those movies that i watched, i am sort of found these actors that i think super hot! they posses a high quality acting skill and unavoidably charming!. Thus, they're my favorite actors!.

Matt damon
who dont know him? his acting is heavy and serious man! he can play any effin' characters! you can watch him in 'Good will hunting', 'Bourne identity', 'The good Shepperd', 'Invictus', etc.

liam neeson
say hi to papa neeson! first notice him on 'taken' and admire him right after! you can watch him in 'Clash of the titan' , 'chloe' and 'A-team'
strong character, mature and charming.

Johny Depp
i dont need to explain much! he's Tim burton's muse and his quirkiness always bring something into the character he played. watch him in 'libertine', Edward the scissors hand', 'whats eating gilbert grape', 'sleepy hollow', 'pirates of Caribbean', etc.

Robert dawney Jr.
him as Tony stark..that is what i called as HOT! his acting is unique yet impressive. he also simply a charmer. love him!. watch him in 'Chaplin', 'Iron man', 'Air America' and 'Sherlock Holmes'.

Denzel Washington
One genius in acting. dont need to tell a lot just go watch "Johny Q', 'The Great debaters', 'Bone collector' and watch your self! he's good!.

Clive Owen
Well, he's my favourite. He act very well and insanely handsome. watch him in ' King Arthur', 'Derailed', 'Hostage', Duplicity' and 'Children of men".

Add ImageJohn Krasinski
Well, he might not in the same caliber as those actors above. But he's is simply a good actor that usually plays in a comedy and he's my funny guy. charming, lovely, nice and act well. watch him in 'licence to wed', 'away we go' (damn i haven't watch this!), 'Leather heads', 'It's complicated'.

long story short, i will devoutly wait for their latest movie and definetely watch them. Way to go guys!... :D

Avatar the last air bender!

M. Night Shamalayan..

well, i watched his movie twice. sixth sense and the happening. not really impressed.

kinda think about watch another of his movie, lady in the water, but it looks so gloomy i am not interested anymore. i always thought that he is kinda unique. well not everyone love his movies but he got all he's weird mysterious style in directing. the point is, i respect him regardless his infamous style of movies.

but, frankly speaking, i really2 dont like the idea of him directing avatar the last air bender!. first, this movie is not he's kind of movie. second, he make a stupid decision by hiring Latin American actress to play the role (i suppose their should be Chinese or at least Asian) and it totally ruined the whole fantasy of the story.

now, the movie has been released and the response is like this. I think i don't need to comment further, these bad reviews already represent my opinions. wassalam. *ngambek
